About ER Safari
ER Safari is an initiative between AAR and KATO designed to provide the KATO
membership with a seamless Rescue and Evacuation for their clients within East
Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zanzibar). ER Safari addresses itself to
key issues of rescue such as distance, geographical scope, risk insurance,
hospital network within East Africa, history of evacuation and competence of
the medical team.
ER Safari has also taken into account the administrative hassles of booking for
covers by providing a Web enabled interface where all bookings are done from
the comfort of the office.
ER Safari, allows a tour operator to plan tourist itineraries in the knowledge
that in case of a medical emergency the tourist is covered for rescue and/or
evacuation across East Africa.
